BHAVAN’S BOOK UNIVERSITY

The Bhavan’s Prakashan Mandir (Publication Division) is among the most important of about 375 constituent institutions of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. Kulapati K. M. Munshi, Founder of the Bhavan, significantly christened it the Bhavan’s Book University which has so far published over 2,000 titles, all intended to promote education, art, culture and ethics. The primary aim of the Bhavan’s Book University is to publish books and periodicals which provide modern knowledge, inculcate ethical and moral values, build character among our boys and girls and help release their creative energies in constructive and meaningful ways.

Started in 1951, Bhavan ‘s Book University has grown from strength to strength. Bhavan publications have received wide welcome both in India and abroad and the sales have now crossed over thirty million copies.

At Jaipur Kendra

At Jaipur Kendra the Bhavan’s Book University publications are available in its store called PUSTAK BHARATI.

It was inaugurated by Justice B.P. Beri the Chairman and the Director Shri A.P. Vasudevan on 26th October 2001 on the auspicious occasion of Dusshera.

Located inside the Maharana Pratap Auditorium Pustak Bharati houses all major publications of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. It is open to the public and has about 5615 books and 540 titles.

Pustak Bharati remains open on all working days from 10am to 3pm.
