Munshi,<\/b> the Founder of this Institution known as Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, a unique institution for education and culture.<\/p><p>Taking the philosophy of our founder forward the Jaipur Kendra embarked on a new project to add another dimension to its already existing multifarious activities. A Centre for Cultural and Social Activities for the people of Jaipur was established in July 2018 under the patronage and blessings of the Chairman Bhavan\u2019s Jaipur Kendra<b> Shri V.C. Surana.<\/b><\/p><p>The Cultural Centre has been set up with the aim of imparting training in various Indian Classical and Folk Performing Arts, so as to pass on the true Indian Culture and Values amongst the youth and the society at large besides producing talented artist and also to inculcate Indian values of life amongst the masses more particularly the younger generation.<\/p><p>Suruchi Kendra runs <b>Regular Classes in Classical Vocal Music, Dance (Kathak, Bharatnatyam), Instrumental Music, Drawing &amp; Painting besides conducting Short Term Workshops in Theatre &amp; Folk Arts <\/b>on weekends (Saturday evening &amp; Sunday morning).<\/p><p>The courses are open to all sections of the society above the age of 8 years. All the Cultural Activities are being conducted under the banner of Bhavan\u2019s Suruchi Kendra \u2013 The cultural centre of the Jaipur Kendra\u201d located inside the Sports Complex and its office is at: Maharana Pratap Auditorium, Vidyashram Campus, K.M. Munshi Marg, Jaipur.<\/p><p>The Social activities includes programmes of public interest like inculcating life skill education amongst the youth, organising personality development programmes, providing guidance to the younger generation for selecting appropriate career and bring awareness on emerging new fields as career options, create awareness on public and social issues, work towards the upliftment of the weaker section of the society and promote ethical and spiritual value in everything it does.<\/p><p>At present <b>Shri Rajendra Bhanawat IAS (Retd) <\/b>is the convenor of the centre and <b>Smt.
